Jammer Tip- How to Fix Technical Difficulties

Hello Jammers! While you might be having fun enjoying Animal Jam, sometimes you can experience technical difficulties, and this can really hinder your gaming experience. If you are having issues playing Animal Jam, here are a few things you can do to try to fix the issues on your own before you have to contact the staff here at Animal Jam.

The first thing you should try is to close all of your browser windows and then try to log back into Animal Jam once you get the browser back open. If you are using a Mac, you will need to hit “Exit” in the File menu of the browser in order to fully shut down the browser before restarting and trying again.

You also could also try to upgrade your browser to the most current version if you are on an older version.

You can also login to Animal Jam on another computer if you have one, which could help narrow down what the problem really is. If the issue is gone, then it likely means the issue is with your computer itself and not Animal Jam.

Make sure that your internet connection and network is up and running good, and that all of your computer hardware is plugged in and working correctly. Sometimes it is not Animal Jam but your internet connection, so just make sure you are connected and everything is working good on that front.

Another way to check is to clear your cache in the browser, which is often found in the “History” tab on your browser. Clearing cache is often one of the best ways to get rid of problems when playing Animal Jam and other games as well, and sometimes this just needs to be done whether you are on Google Chrome or Firefox.

Update Adobe Flash if you are getting gray or black screens at certain points of the game. You need to make sure Adobe is downloaded and running, and then make sure you are on the newest version to ensure the game correctly runs.
