If you like mice, rats and ferrets in real life, the Pet Ferret is definitely one of the Animal Jam pets you should be looking to adopt! This pet was released in July 2015, as part of a promo. In order to obtain it, you had to purchase, and use, a retail Membership gift card. You had to do this between July 2015 and October 2015 to receive the Pet Ferret.
Pet Ferret Actions & Special Abilities
All pets in Animal Jam have special abilities and actions, just like regular animals. Today, we are going to take a look at the actions and special abilities of the Pet Ferret.
When you tell it to sit, it will simply sit on its hind legs and look into the direction your animal is looking.
The play action makes the Pet Ferret pull out a ball, and then jump on it to roll over it. It will then use all four of its legs to push the ball up in the air.
The dance action makes the Pet Ferret stand on its hind legs and swirl from side to side.
When you tell it to sleep, it lays down on its stomach and close its eyes. Its head is slightly bobbing, and animated Z’s appear above its head.
When you tell it to hop, it jumps up high and then lands back down on all four of its legs.
How to Get a Pet Ferret in Animal Jam
The Pet Ferret was given as a promotional gift to Jammers that purchased a retail Membership gift card. The offer was valid between July 2015 and October 2015. It is quite possible that you are a new player, so you weren’t even around to get the Pet Ferret. Luckily, pets in Animal Jam are tradable.
Trading
The only way to still obtain the Pet Ferret for yourself is by trading with other Jammers. The pet itself is quite rare, so it is highly valued. The best way to find Animal Jam traders is by going on the AJ fan website forums, the wiki pages or by going to crowded places within the game itself.
Pet Ferret AJ Codes
It is currently not possible to redeem any codes that actually reward you with a Pet Ferret. At some points, AJHQ releases special codes, which you can use to get small gifts, such as Gems and promotional items. However, this is not the case for the Pet Ferret. If you really want to own one, you are going to have to find a Jammer that is willing to trade theirs with you.
